Story
Hi!
I'm being a Tough Bloke in support of all the tough sheilas that are faced with the challenge of overcoming breast cancer, like my courageous mum.
The 2013 Tough Bloke Challenge is a 7km, 20 obstacle course which requires strength, determination, teamwork and will power. This course is nothing in comparison to the journey those suffering from breast cancer endure. What makes their lives easier is the support of family, friends and the excellent work of Breast Care Nurses.
In 2008 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The Breast Care Nurses provided unequivocal support from homes visits to advice to organising related care.
I would love your support in raising money for the McGrath Foundation to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across right across Australia and to increase breast awareness in young women.

The McGrath Foundation raises money to fund McGrath Cancer Care Nurses and deliver world leading cancer nursing services to support people and their families through cancer.
